John Walton – “John Boy”, from the heart of Yorkshire, is best known for winning the 2001 BDO World Darts Championship.
John also made history at the 2007 World Masters by hitting a televised nine dart finish, the first time any player had hit a nine-darter in the 34 year history of the event.

Fun fact: Walton was the first player to win either version of the World Professional Darts Championship wearing spectacles.
