The plated brass body is fitted with a slotted flight holder shaft made in high tensile aluminium alloy and the flight is held in position by a streamlined cap screwed on the rear end of the shaft. The flight is thus perfectly encased in metal and no loss of score is possible, because if a following dart hits the streamlined cap it glances off to lodge in the board.”
